steering problem for 5200 series

I just put on a new steering gear with bushings on my 5200 series and now I am hving trouble steering to the right. Should it be greased or could it be a defective part/ IF IT NEEEDS GREASING hOW DO i DO IT? tHANKS

Wasn't it full of grease when you took it apart? If the steering problem is only to the right then you might have assembly problems. ....

It wass put on the same way it came off. There was no place for it to be full of grease. Whast might be the assembly problem. My husband wont't use the comnputer. I am doing this for him. thanks ....

when you line the gear with the toothed steering plate, make sure the gear is centered on the swteering plate and the front wheels are strait. ....
